In any business or game…there are rules that one must abide by in order to be successful. Here are The 10 Cardinal Rules To Successful Web Marketing.
Rule #1
Winning Attitude…You must believe that you can be successful in order to become successful.
Rule #2
Knowledge…You must educate yourself about your business and how to market your business on-line.
Rule #3
Eliminate Clutter…You can become overwhelmed by too much information…too many books…too many phone calls…too many interruptions…Your working environment must be free of Clutter!
Rule #4
Winning Team…It’s important to associate with people who can help you achieve your goals. Like minds are extremely important.
Rule #5
The Right Product or Products…When considering choosing a product to sell…consider this: Does your proposed customer have a burning desire or need for this item? (Your selling success rate greatly depends on how badly your item is needed…) Where do you find your customers? Who are they?
When you are choosing a product to market, you must first put yourself in the shoes of the person who will be buying your item.
Rule #6
You Need Traffic…You must have people to sell your products to. If you have no customers…you will not be selling any products.
Rule #7
Delegate…You must be willing to share the work load. At first, you will probably wear all the hats, while you are building your business. Keep track of what jobs you could farm-out (replace yourself). This will not only free-up your time for more useful, productive work but it will also allow you to organize your time to spend with family and friends.
Rule #8
Embrace Change…Know that the world is changing minute by minute. No place else is that more evident than on-line. Be willing to embrace this change and willing to learn what you need to know to grow your business. If it’s not growing…it’s dying…
Rule #9
You Must Have F.A.I.T.H…I think of the word faith as a powerful acronym:
F=Focus A=Attitude I=Intellect T=Timing H=Heroic…You probably get that it takes focus, the right attitude, intelligence and timing is important but heroic to me is a very powerful part of this acronym. The synonyms for the word heroic include daring, gallant, brave, stout, valiant, epic and superhuman.
Rule #10
Be Willing To Give…You must give in order to get…share knowledge…pay for useful information…Teach others what you’ve learned…Give freely and you will receive…In order to “Be Blessed” you must first “Be a Blessing” to others.
